Monthly Round-Up: September favorites and Bubble Guppies

Round-up, round-up, everybody here we go round-up!

I’ve watched way too many episodes of Bubble Guppies. Everything I read or say out loud sounds like the ‘line-up’ song in my head. My daughter lives and breathes for this show. If you don’t know what I’m talking about:

My husband and I basically know the words to every one of these songs by heart. We also have a lot of questions about how this underwater world has so many different facets to it; It seems like a very successful city, although I have my doubts.

ANYWAY. Let’s just jump right into my favorites from the past month! These are items that I’ve been using and love.

  1. ICE FROG iWatch Series Case: So let’s talk about Apple watches.  I’ve had my series 1 for around 2 (if not longer) years now, and the adhesive that keeps the face glued to the body has officially come undone. The watch itself still works, and I’ll be damned if I’m ready to get rid of it just yet. I’ve at least got to manage until Christmas! Anyway, I was googling ways to MaGyver the thing; and someone suggested a case. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this! Long story short it’s working perfectly and is extending the life of my watch. I should of have one of these from the get go.

2. Formula 10 ‘Deep down Detox’: I’m a huge advocate for face masks! They are a great way to implement a little self-care into your routine. They feel great, are relaxing, and go great with a cup of coffee/tea. I can’t sing enough praises about the benefits. If you haven’t invested in any, what are you waiting for?! Amazon has some great deals that also don’t break the bank. This one was only NINE dollars, guys! It’s worth every penny. You don’t need to spend a fortune to love yourself. Head over now to check this one out, it’s refreshing and cleanses beautifully.

3. Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask: This mask had me and my girlfriends on Insta CRACKING UP. I found this gem on Buzzfeed, and it’s the most entertaining face mask I’ve ever used. You legit look like a puffy rain cloud by the time you’re ready to wipe it off (see below for case in point) If you are looking for a few chuckles added to your daily routine, get on this one and fast. Bonus: It actually made my face super soft.

4. Physicians Formula Super BB All-in-1: ALL TIME FAVORITE BB cream, hands down. I’ve been using this baby for over a year, it’s my favorite. I am someone who needs a more medium to heavy coverage, and this is a perfect primer because it gives my face a bit of a tint without making me look like Snooki. It also provides some initial coverage from the beginning. I also use the item below for my concealer. Physician’s Formula is affordable and great quality.

5. Physicians Formula Concealer Twins: Yellow for the win! I’ve got crazy dark circles under my eyes (thank you, genetics) which are hereditary in my family. Poor Charlie will have them too. Anyway, I’ve found that yellow is the best concealer color for them and the undertones in my pigment. This won’t apply to everyone; however, I do love that this comes with a second concealer color, which is more ‘white’ based for your imperfection coverage. It’s basically like getting two for the price of one. I believe they offer a range of skin tones as well.
That’s it for this round. Until next month!
