The Ollie World 'Smarter' Swaddle: for those of us that like sleep

Happy Friday Eve!

It's FINALLY cooling down!! We've been having to turn on the heat in the mornings so our sweet peach won't freeze to death in her room. It's the only one in the house that is either ice-cold or center of the earth hot. There's no comfortable in-between. I think every house I've ever lived in has always had that "one" room.

Our little is still too young to have anything in her crib with her while she sleeps, and sometimes her footed PJ's, as warm as they are, don't do the job in the early morning when it's coldest out. Enter, the Ollie 'smarter' Swaddle!

I was particularly excited to try this one out. I was at the point of desperation - our girl was really struggling to keep herself asleep at night. She never had any trouble actually getting to asleep, however, she got into the habit of crocodile rolling all over her crib; in turn waking herself up numerous times a night - to the point where her dad and I were playing 'tag, you're it' every other hour, just to try and get her back to sleep.

This thing doesn't even come with instructions, it's that straight-across. You literally lay them down on it, pull one side over, and do the same with the other side. Take the 'pony-tail' type holder at the end, and loop it into the fabric - VOILA. You've got yourself a baby burrito.

This thing comes in so handy while she's also got her helmet on. It's made from custom moisture-wicking material to reduce the risk of overheating, yet it still adds just enough extra warmth to keep her cozy. It's also really helped eliminate her waking so frequently at night; as she isn't spending as much time rolling around trying to find a comfortable position.

I wish that I would have added this item to my baby registry - swaddling can be such a pain, and I know Trav and I struggled to get it right with regular muslin blankets; it would either be too loose and she would wiggle out of it, or disjointed so she wouldn't be at the correct angle.

I would absolutely recommend you add this to your list of must-have baby items. It's a great transitional swaddle that helps to ease babies slowly out of their swaddle-state, and is made to grow with them. It also allows for easy access diaper changes, accessible through the opening at the bottom.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
