Happy back to school month! Moms all over the world are rejoicing as they can see their sanity slowly returning…
My kiddo isn’t school age yet, but my time is coming. I don’t have a theme for this months round-up, but wanted to share a few random items I’ve picked up this month that I love!
- O-Cedar Easy mop: This thing is awesome. I know that most people are into the steam cleaners these days, so the old fashioned mop is sort of behind on the times; so I guess I’m not cool using it but It works for our family. I just bought a replacement head this month for it and there’s just something pretty satisfying about a freshly mopped floor! Great bang for your buck.
- Unisex college bag: I went to Seattle to see my best friend a few weeks back and knew I would not want to bring my purse along. It’s just too much and can give me back/shoulder strain. I saw this backpack on Amazon and fell in love. It’s minimal, gorgeous, and great value for my budget. It has an outside USB port to charge your electronics (charging pack not included) which I thought was a cool little perk. The older I’ve gotten the more I’ve learned to appreciate support. I carry my life in my purse so having the option to switch things up for my backs sake is well worth it!
- Huggies Simply Clean Fragrance free wipes: I’m probably going to get audibly ostracized for saying this, but I use these to clean my makeup off at night because I have no shame. When you’re a tired mom you just reach for anything, if at all. I’m lucky if I even get around to cleaning my face at night anymore. Anyway, we buy these every month. They last us a considerable amount of time, and I’ve yet to find a better deal.
- Boxiki iPad for kids: Again, going to get the mom police called on me, but whatevs. My kid is obsessed with our phones, always trying to swipe them and get her hands on them at all times. So we bought her her own toy iPhone from the same company. You can see the link to that here (totally worth the buy, in case you were wondering) so then we also got her this, which is a bit bigger, but does songs, numbers, letters, games, etc…it’s very cute and she absolutely loves both.
